Life the breath we all have, breathe
In moments tumultuous rise up
For your voice to listen to matters
Never ever will I ever stop to speak?
Of this monster in a dark cloud roaring
Thundering like the whirls of sand
Lovely souls of men devouring forth
Who will rise to tame this lion?
When the times seem dark
The psychologist talks of talk therapy
The psychiatrist of psychiatric meds
The seer of the future insights to our ails
The diviners soothsaying and prophecy
The pastors casting the demons away
The exorcist expelling the supernatural
Who will stand to the sand of time?
When the times seem dark
Mama Papa come to Toto and listen
For thy son calls and wails from within
You told me heroes shed no tears
Broken stricken ridden pestilent times
Of men who never ever dared to care
Of what ails and eats thy son deep within
Laughter selfie sickening millennial
To the dogma of must should and must
Yet to the toils or foils dare not know
When the times seem dark
Who will care to ask if I am okay?
To the pillory they committed me
Noosed hooded like a dodo to oblivion
Times and seasons never changed on me
This song, whisper, soliloquy from my soul
Of me my pain my story stamped to times
Drenched like a pauper to a stupor
I wonder when this shall change
A time for the change we want
Men shall be men and rise to the occasion
When the times seem dark
How long will we silence this silent whisper?
Of men into an early eternal siesta
By hands of the very hands given to care
Toil and search for solace never granted
Hold not this breath any longer not to care
For we are the serene spaces to listen
To heal the wounded wounds of time
Decreeing that this news shall suffice not
Of men early to the grave
When the times seem dark we listened
To hear heal rejuvenate and ignite
To bring forth the reason to live again
To find the very purpose we were birthed
To rise up beyond the dictates of times
We are who we are, the smile to the world
The reason you should never give up
When the times seem dark we rise up
A new beginning a fresh start a new dawn
Happy new year a dawn to prosper
Feel inspired for you matter as they say
MTU NI WATU NA WATU NI MTU in Africa
Come to my rescue dont let me sink
For the tides of life want to swallow me whole
Am all i am and only human who breaks.

The state of affairs around the world, the silenced story of suicide, tabooed in the echelions of our societal dicta. Who are we not to stand in the gap and heal our people. Am here taking the strides, a single step at a time to a place I want to call home, serene, a realm of solace to my soul. Tears of pain trickle down my cheeks watching my comrades call it out and give away the breath we all have so early, so young in their youth yet they could give so much to the world.

Lets all wake up from this slumber of indifference, take the mantle and rise to the occasion for in this our dispensation of pandemonium, pandemic or to some extent should I call it plandemic.
